It is the time of year again! The leaves are changing colors, the temperature is dropping, and Fall Fest is returning to Soergel’s Orchards.
This Pittsburgh tradition kicks off on Saturday, September 23, and runs every weekend (Saturday and Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ) through the end of October.
Families are welcome at the event, which always includes lots of fun fall activities for all ages. Expect hayrides, pumpkin picking, kettle corn, apple picking, face painting, games, and a lot more.
Fresh BBQ, roasted corn, and delicious desserts will be on sale for guests to enjoy. For the 21+ crowd, Soergel’s will be hosting Boyd & Blair Potato Vodka, Arrowhead Wine Cellars, Arsenal Cider, and Aurochs Brewing Company (serving gluten-free beer).
Soergel Orchards is a family farm located in Wexford, PA. The farm’s history began in 1850 John Conrad Soergel began planting apple trees on the land of present-day orchard. Over the years, Soergel has expanded and now includes a market, garden center, home accent shop, bakery, and deli.
Sorgel’s is also much-loved for their home-pressed cider, and their Naturally Soergels shop, a gluten-free, allergen-free, natural and organic foods store.
Soergel’s fall festival is a tradition over 40 years in the making. More information can be found on their event page.
