Emily Catalano, founder: Emily launched Good Food Pittsburgh in 2014 as a way to share all of the good food news that her hometown had to offer. She also runs Highly Social Media, a content marketing and public relations company that works with clients in the food and hospitality industries, and the Pittsburgh Food Swap, a seasonal event where home chefs can swap and share their homemade goods. When not working, writing, or eating her way through town, she can usually be found in the kitchen, cooking, canning and baking treats. Before starting her own company in 2011, Emily was a newspaper reporter in Philadelphia and a television reporter in North Dakota.

Madeline Quigley, lead writer. Madeline is a Pittsburgh native, who fortunate enough to grow up in a household where she was exposed to unusual cuisine from birth, and has been hungry for food and adventure ever since the fateful moment when she had her first plate of pasta in Italy. After graduating from Denison University, Madeline traveled through Alaska, Europe, and Southeast Asia, where she established her travel blog, and began sharing her food adventures through writing. While she is a firm believer in the fact Pittsburgh is the greatest city on earth (and blogs about it often), her passion lies in travel, and she is always dreaming and scheming of her next destination. In Pittsburgh, as well as everywhere she visits, she works to get off the beaten path and find the real feel of a city – especially by trying local foods.
