For the second year in a row, the Pennsylvania chapter of the Best Buddies organization is hosting their exciting TasteBuds event, featuring more than 20 talented chefs from around the Greater Pittsburgh Area.
Best Buddies is an international organization dedicated to ending the social, physical and economic isolation of the 200 million individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD), and the organization works to foster friendships, secure employment, and provide leadership opportunities and training for people with IDD.
For the organization’s annual TasteBuds fundraising event, talented chefs from around Pittsburgh area serve guests their signature dishes while showing the power and positivity of friendship. Each chef teams up with a buddy pair, who serves as “sous chefs” for the evening.
Guests of the event will sample dishes and sip on cocktails all evening. There will also be silent and live auctions, as well as live entertainment. The event will be held on Wednesday, November 8 at 6:00 p.m. in the Grand Concourse of the David L. Lawrence Convention Center.
Good Food Pittsburgh is teaming up with Best Buddies to provide the opportunity for one reader and a guest to attend the event as VIP guests!

VIP Tickets include: Full tasting preview of all chefs, champagne reception, VIP gift bag, unlimited tastings, open (limited) bar, live entertainment.
VIP guests can arrive at 5:15 p.m. Programming will begin at 7:30 p.m.
