Your holiday (food) shopping just got a little easier, because a brand new Aldi grocery store has officially open at The Galleria at the Pittsburgh Mills.
The shopping complex, located off of Route-28 in Tarentum, is also home a Lowes, Best Buy, Walmart, Fine Wine & Good Spirits, and Sam’s Club.
The discount supermarket chain is taking over the space formerly occupied by OfficeMax. The space is nearly 19,000 square feet, and the products and layout will be consistent with other Aldi stores.
According to the Tribune Review, the new Aldi had a soft opening yesterday, November 15, and a grand opening ceremony this morning, November 16.
This is the 49th location for the German-based chain, which now has over 10,000 stores located around the world.
