We’re big fans of 412 Food Rescue (as we’ve told you before), and our friends at LOCALpittsburgh are too.
So when we heard that the magazine was celebrating 412 Food Rescue, and all of the contributors and volunteers who make up the food rescue/re-distribution organization, we were thrilled.
On Monday, December 7 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., enjoy a free evening of food, drinks, and mingling at Repair the World’s East Liberty location.
Guests will enjoy a menu prepared from rescued food by Square Café, specially-crafted cocktails created by Union Pig & Chicken’s Jess Keyser, Rivertowne Brewing beers and Sangria from Pallantia.
At the event, 412 Food Rescue will be honoring their top volunteers, and LOCALpittsburgh will be launching their winter issue (featuring a little story by us about the best holiday dishes in the ‘Burgh.).
The event is totally free, but space is limited. To register, visit their event page.
