Two Pittsburgh favorites have teamed up for an extra special collaboration.
Hidden Harbor, a tiki bar in Squirrel Hill, and Dancing Gnome beer, a very popular brewery in Sharpsburg, have announced their collaboration on a beer named “Hula Hips.”
The beer is a fassionola-inspired 7% ale brewed with raspberry, apricot, passion fruit, and Citra hops. Dancing Gnome promises the beer is truly a tropical paradise of fermented bliss.
Cans and drafts of the beer, as well as special glassware, will be available in the Dancing Gnome taproom Wednesday, December 20.
On Saturday, December 23, Hidden Harbor will be selling a special frozen slushie version of the beer at their Hawaiian Holiday Party. They will also have 10 cases of cans for sale with a strict limit of one 4-pack per person.
