It’s almost the end of the month, and that means that you only have a couple more days to enjoy some of the September treats that local restaurants are featuring this month, before they launch their new October selections.
Enjoy a little spice in your life with Waffles INCaffeinated’s September waffle of the month, their Picante Chorizo Salsa special. It’s an Oaxaca cheese waffle, topped with their house-made chorizo gravy, fresh pico de gallo, and diced apple.
Every month, Braddock’s introduces a new pierogie creation, stuffed with a seasonal filling. This month, they went super sweet, with a Peach Cobbler ‘pie’-rogie. It’s a deep-fried pastry pierogie, tossed in a peach cobbler topping, and garnished with Mascarpone whipped cream, cinnamon ice cream, and a warm bourbon caramel drizzle.
Sienna went old-school for their September ‘Ball of the Month.’ For a few more days, enjoy their Pigs In a Ball meatball, made with beef and sausage, steam cabbage, and white rice. They’re serving it over house-made haluski (and recommend it with their Sweet & Sour Tomato Sauce).
Each of these dishes will only be available through September 30.
