An exciting project is in the works from some big names in Pittsburgh’s food & beverage scene!

Justin Severino and Hilary Prescott Severino, owners of Cure and Morcilla, are teaming up with Scott Smith of East End Brewing Company to open a 130-seat casual eatery inside of East End Brewing’s tasting room in Larimer.

The menu will feature dishes designed to pair well with East End Brewing’s popular beers, and to appeal to beer-drinkers of all types.

There will be plenty of vegetarian-friendly options, such as poutine, spatzle with Brussels sprouts, a falafel pita and escarole salad with creamy lemon-fennel dressing. There will also be a supplemental list of cured and slow-roasted meats that can be ordered in tandem with the meat free dishes

Severino has also created some exciting meat-forward dishes, including bratwurst, Italian sausage sandwiches, lamb merguez, and a small list of charcuterie.

“Scott and I have been friends for a long time,” Severino said. “His beer has been a presence on the menus at Cure and Morcilla since we opened our doors, so in a way it feels like we have been collaborating for ages. We’ve talked about working together on a project for years, so when he approached me with this opportunity I just couldn’t say no.”

The project aims to open in the spring of 2018.
