Dog-friendly happy hours, lots of St. Patrick’s Day shenanigans, a pizza party at more.

Friday, March 16

McBark & Brew at Animal Friends
Bring your pooch to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day at Animal Friends! They’ll have a variety of brews to sample and treats to snack on, and the humans can socialize while the pups play together. Registration is limited, and tickets are $20 each.

Spring Yappy Hour at Petagogy Shadyside
Bring your pup to Petagogy’s first Yappy Hour of 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. They’ll have free beer for the humans, and free Barley Bones for the dogs. Plus, 10% of all sales made during the event will go to Steel City Greyhounds. See more on the event page.

Saturday, March 17

St. Patrick’s Day Parade
Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Celebrate by heading to the St. Patrick’s Day Parade downtown. The actual event starts at 10:00 a.m., but get there (much) earlier if you want to get a good spot. And, there are a lot of fun events happening at bars all over the cider, including a Kegs & Eggs at Threadbare Cider, Kegs & eggs at City Works, St. Patrick’s Day brunch at Black Forge Coffee, an all-day party at Revel & Roost, St. Patrick’s Day specials at Spoonwood Brewing Company, the St. PrimAnTi’s Day party at Primanti Brothers in Market Square, and an Alternative St. Patrick’s Day party at Bierport.

Maple Madness Pancake Brunch at Todd Nature Reserve
The Audobon Society of Western Pennsylvania is hosting a pancake brunch, and guided hikes at Todd Nature Reserve. Guests will also learn the history of Maple Sugaring, and the science of maple syrup. See more on the Audobon Society’s event page.

Bloomfield Winter Market
It’s the last winter market of the season in Bloomfield. Head to the market at 5050 Liberty Avenue for local produce, handmade goods and more.

Sunday, March 18

Full Pint ‘Hungover’ Brunch at the Abbey on Butler Street
If you drank just a little too much celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, you may need a some ‘hair of the dog’ relief – and that’s why Full Pint is taking over the bar at the Abbey on Butler Street for a Full Pint brunch. They’ll have a selection of four Full Pint brews and four Full Pint-inspired cocktails to choose from, plus a full brunch menu, perfect for pairing.

Artisan Herbal Sodas at Sterling Yoga
Learn to make your own herbal soda at a special event at Sterling Yoga this Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $40, and more information can be found online.

Roundabout Sunday at Driftwood Oven
For two years, Driftwood Oven would spend their Sundays at Roundabout Brewing, and now that they’ve opened their own shop, they’re returning the favor. From 1:00 to 6:00 p.m., Roundabout will be at the restaurant, pairing their brews to go along with Driftwood Oven’s pies. See more on the event page.
