There are almost too many good things to eat and drink this weekend in Pittsburgh. Our picks?

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Fall at Spoon, with seasonal ingredients cropping up in their new specials, like this gorgeous Pork Scallopini with pumpkin risotto, Brussels sprouts, a fried egg, and an apple cider reduction. And, we would be completely remiss if we didn’t mention their Normandy Apple cocktail, with Crown Royal, calvados, cranberry juice, apple vermouth and sparkling cider. We’ve had one or two (or was it three?) this week, and let’s just say we’re big fans.

This is almost too beautiful to eat… almost. Meat & Potatoes has a weekend special to warm you up. Their Kombucha squash soup is doted with blackberry honey, pomegranate seeds, brown butter and chives.

It might feel like you’re cheating yourself by going to BRGR and not having a burger, but this salad is just too good to pass up. Their Local Orchard salad is topped with apples, pears, quinoa, dried cranberries, bleu cheese, candied walnuts and a pear and apple vinaigrette, and it’s on their menu now.

Not only does Sienna Mercato have six (yep, six) pumpkin drafts on their tap list right now, they’re also offering an extra-special bar snack – say hello to their new baked potatoes, loaded with melted cheddar, crispy bacon, and sour cream.

We love a good cider cocktail, and we love a good whiskey. So, we’re so glad that The Porch at Schenley has added a limited-edition cider cocktail, made with Wigle’s new Walkabout Apple Whiskey and a sweet cinnamon sugar rim, perfect for sipping all afternoon long.
