May 10, 2018 by Emily Catalano Leave a Comment

Get outta town… and head to a Punxsutawney beer festival!

The Hogtoberfest Craft Beer Festival is taking place on Saturday, May 26 at Gobbler’s Knob (where Punxsutawney Phil checks for his shadow every Groundhog’s Day), and will feature local craft beer samples, along with a home brew competition.

Tickets to the event are $30 and include tastings from breweries like Penn Brewery, Doc G’s Brewing Co., Boxcar Brew Works, Southern Tier, Threadbare Cider and more, plus live entertainment, appetizers, and a take-home tasting glass.

Designated driver tickets are $10.

The event runs from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m., and will also feature a home brew competition, which will start at 11:00 a.m. Registration for that is still open.

For more information, and to purchase tickets, visit the event page.
