Peter’s Pub in Oakland Is Closing Its Doors

May 17, 2018 by Emily Catalano Leave a Comment

Oakland stalwart and Pitt favorite Peter’s Pub will be closing its doors after 44 years in business.

The pub announced the news in a Facebook post on Wednesday.

The Leventis family, who has owned the bar since the doors opened in 1974, said in the post that while they “deeply regret that we cannot continue to do what we love, with an amazing team that has become our family, we will move forward with the warm memories we made with each other and all of you.”

The final day of service for Peter’s Pub will be on Friday, May 25, and will feature half-priced food and drinks all day long.
