
After a weekend soft opening, Poros officially opens its doors for lunch and dinner today.
The Mediterranean restaurant and lounge, serving classic Greek dishes, will feature small plates, with a focus on fresh seafood and locally-raised lamb, and a large outdoor dining area.
The lunch menu will include a selection of salads, seafood mezze small plates, and sandwiches, and the restaurant will be offering a daily prix fixe lunch, with two courses for $16 and three courses for $19.
On the dinner menu, Poros will feature a fish market, where guests can select a whole fish, fillet or shellfish prepared chargrilled, seared, or Tandoor-roasted.
Dinner menu highlights include:
- Dorade Crudo: Artichokes, macerated oranges, persimmon
- Grilled Octopus: Grilled fennel and radicchio, preserved lemon parsley sauce, shallon & caper citronette
- House-made Spanakopita: Spinach, filo, feta, manouri cheese
- Moroccan Mechouia: Fired grilled peppers, shallots, tomatoes, squash, eggplant, dry-cured olives, feta
- Chicken Shawarma Sliders: Chili yogurt, pickled red onions, mint
- Fig and Duck Confit Baklava: Burnt honey gastrique, walnuts, mission figs
- Jamison Farms Lamb Heart Souvlaki: Smoked bacon, shallot, garlic, citronette
- Elysian Fields Lamb Pastitsio: Braised shoulder, pasta, tomato, allspice béchamel
- Cretan Roasted Chicken: Lemon, ricotta, Cipollini onions, roasted potatoes, okra
- Beef Short Rib Tagine: Apricot, couscous, butternut squash
Poros will be open Monday – Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
