For the second year in a row, Downtown Pittsburgh is hosting an epic Italian food festival!
Pittsburgh’s Downtown CDC and Highmark are teaming this weekend for the Highmark Italian StrEAT Festival. The event will be held on July 7-8 between 6th and 9th Street on Penn Avenue.
As the name suggests, the street will be lined with Italian vendors from all around the Southwestern Pennsylvania Region.

There will also be stage performances, eating contests, raffles, cooking demonstrations, a bocce court and more. Be sure to check out the meatball eating contest sponsored by Emporio: A Meatball Joint, on Saturday, July 7th at 3:00 p.m.
Admission to this event is free.
