Commonplace Coffee Co. is moving into Point Breeze.
The coffee company officially opened their newest coffeehouse at 6736 Reynolds Street today, in the former home of Make Your Mark ARTspace & Coffeehouse.
In a post on social media, owner TJ Fairchild says that the Commonplace team is excited for the opportunity to take over the space after Make Your Mark owners Amy and Hemi Braunstein deided to step away from the business.
“Our locations reflect each respective neighborhood, and Point Breeze will be no exception; the community can expect the same feel and atmosphere they’ve come to know and love at Make Your Mark.”
This will be Commonplace’s sixth location.
They’re hosting a grand opening celebration today from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the first 50 visitors receiving a t-shirt that will entitle them to free coffee for the rest of year whenever they wear it into the store.
