Some big congratulations are in order for two very special Pittsburgh restaurants.
Bon Appétit just released their list of the 50 restaurants around the country that have been nominated to be named one of the magazine’s Hot Ten Best New Restaurants, and two Pittsburgh spots have made the cut.
Driftwood Oven, the mobile-oven-turned-brick-and-mortar pizzeria in Lawrenceville earned a nomination, along with Bitter End Garden & Luncheonette, Becca Hegarty’s breakfast and lunch counter in Bloomfield.
Driftwood Oven and Bitter Ends join 48 other restaurants on the list, including David Chang’s Majordomo in Los Angeles, Evan Funke’s Felix in Venice, and Suraya in Philadelphia.
Bon Appétit will announce 2018’s Hot Ten list on Tuesday, August 14.
