Summer Recess is in session!
Spirit in Lawrenceville is hosting their third annual outdoor food and music festival, with live music, food vendors, a Slip n’ Slide and more.
On Saturday, August 25 from noon to 9:00 p.m., join them at the Spirit Garden at 51st and Butler Streets for the free, family-friendly event, which will include outdoor music and lots of food trucks, like Round Corner Cantinia, Cold Cuts, Leona’s Ice Cream, Reed & Co., Caffe d’Amore Coffee Company, Ki Pollo, Piebird and Pizza Boat.

There will be plenty of fun for all ages at the outdoor bash, too, like a print-your-own-tee station from Commonwealth Press, a “double drench” Slip n’ Slide, live mural painting, various local craft and handmade vendors, and a parking lot pizza disco, with additional music.
At 9:00 p.m., the party moves into Spirit Lodge for additional performances, including shows by moon baby, Troxum, A Low Rise Trellis, and DJs Stephanie Tsong, Ricky Moslen and Adam Shuck of Jellyfish. There will be a $7 entrance fee for the indoor performances.
