LumberjAxes, the popular axe-throwing gym located in Millvale, is officially opening a second location in the South Hills!
The new location is set to open Saturday, September 22, and is hosting a free Grand Opening party that Saturday from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M.
The first LumberjAxes location opened on Sedgwick Street in Millvale in September of 2017. As the city’s first competitive axe-throwing venue, it quickly became a popular spot for birthday parties, corporate outings, and bachelor/ette parties.
LumberjAxes South Hills will be located at 1689 McFarland Road in Mt. Lebanon.
Similar to bowling, guests at LumberjAxes are given a designated lane for competition. A LumberjAxes employee trains the group on proper safety procedures, and keeps score as everyone competes head-to-head to crown a champion.
The gyms are BYOB for beer and wine, and guests are also welcome to bring their own food and snacks.
Axe throwing at LumberjAxes can be purchased for groups of 6-24 people for a 2 – 2.5 hour tournament for $35/person, or walk-ins for 1 hour for $2o/person. LumberjAxes South Hills is now accepting bookings via their website.
LumberjAxes also has a mobile axe-throwing unit that can be rented for parties and events.
