One of Pittsburgh’s favorite pizzeria’s, Driftwood Oven, is launching their first-ever bread share program this fall! The restaurant is known for their tangy sourdough crusts, sandwiches, and loaves.
Driftwood’s fall bread share will begin on Wednesday, October 17, and run for 6 weeks until Wednesday, November 21st.
Each week customers will receive a different type of homemade, sourdough bread. All of the breads featured will be made from organic grain, and fermented slowly to ensure maximum flavor and digestibility.
Examples of some of the breads in the program include: seeded breads, porridge breads, rye breads, and sprouted grain breads.
“It is our goal to ensure that each bread you receive will nourish your body and satisfy your palette,” Driftwood states on their website.
The program is $40 and includes one loaf of bread every week. There is also the option for customers to order 2 or 3 loaves each week for an additional fee.
Bread pickups will occur every Wednesdays after 4:00 P.M. at Driftwood Oven’s location in Lawrenceville (3615 Butler Street).
