Pittsburgh-favorite Waffles, INCaffeinated just opened their fourth location in the old Macy’s/Kaufmann’s building downtown, serving up sweet and savory waffles every day of the week. Head there on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for Bananas Foster waffles, Country Benedict waffles, breakfast sandwiches, and more.

Not only can you find killer BBQ at Walter’s Southern Kitchen in Lawrenceville, but on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., you can also find brunch items on the menu, like Chicken and Waffles served with Vermont maple syrup, breakfast burritos, collard green salads, buttermilk pancakes, and biscuits and gravy. And, don’t miss their house-made desserts, like Key Lime Pie and Pecan Pie.

You’ll find classic Southern favorites on the brunch menu at Bloomfield’s new Sugar and Smoke, including Shrimp & Grits, Chicken & Waffles, fried green tomatoes, and smoked brisket hash, along with an assortment of omelettes, and sides, like maple sausage and cheddar grits – and they have house-made beignets, too! Okay, the Commoner definitely isn’t new – but, they do have a brand-new chef who’s added some brand-new menu items to their weekend brunch. Executive Chef Brian Barcus has just released his Fall brunch menu, which features new additions, like Smoked Salmon Blini with buttermilk pancakes, a fried egg, salmon roe and crème fraîche, and a Brisket Hash, with house-made brisket sausage, sweet potato and a duck egg. And yes, they still have some old favorites on the menu, including their Pierogi & Eggs, and Vegetables for Breakfast.

Dormont’s Needle & Pin has just introduced Sunday brunch from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with English and Indian-infused dishes like Oat Cakes with bacon-wrapped bananas and honey whipped cream, a South Indian Omelette, with chili and a caramelized onion paneer, Bangers & Mash, and a Pondicherry French Toast, with coconut milk crème anglaise, handmade candied ginger, toasted coconut, and a fermented raspberry and jaggery syrup. You’ll also find some awesome takes on brunch cocktails like mimosas and Bloody Mary’s.

Both concepts bring some serious game to brunch every weekend, with Phill Milton’s Home offering up dishes like a Brunch BLT, Hot Biscuits & Gravy with Nashville hot chicken, and a Fall Cinnamon Roll, with spiced cream cheese icing and candied pecans. Over at Joey’s Snack Bar, you’ll find classic brunch lineups, like “Dad’s Breakfast,” a plate with bacon, eggs, toast, jam, and potatoes with hollandaise and tomato, and breakfast burritos.

Stout Pub & Kitchen has been open for a few months in Robinson, and serves brunch on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. The menu features a number of elevated brunch dishes, like Smoked Salmon Benedict, Sweet Crepes with honey-whipped cream cheese, and Chicken & Waffles topped with a fresh berry compote. Another reason to check this brunch out? They also have breakfast cocktails, and mimosa flights.

Mediterra Café, from the team behind the beloved Mediterra Bakehouse, serves breakfast on Saturdays starting 7:00 a.m. and on Sundays starting at 8:00 a.m. Head to the Sewickley hot spot for quiches, avocado toast, baked eggs, granola, gluten-free pancakes, and of course, lots of fresh-baked goods and breakfast sandwiches.

Casual coffee shop Café 412 opened over the summer in the city’s West End neighborhood, and serves sweet and savory baked treats (hello, scones and muffins), breakfast sandwiches, and avocado toast, Belgian waffles, and more. They also have a selection of lunch panini sandwiches for more savory options. And of course, you’ll find lots of coffee, espresso, and house-blend lattes.
