Thanksgiving is a week away, but if you want to celebrate early (and daily!), you have lots of options around town with these awesome Thanksgiving-inspired dishes.

Head to the Smallman Galley to try Home’s new Thanksgiving Poutine, made with Stove Top-seasoned French fries, turkey, gravy, cheese curds, fresh cranberries, sweet and mashed potatoes, and fennel jam.

Ki Ramen

Roger Li’s latest creation at Ki Ramen is all about Thanksgiving: Bao, stuffed with braised turkey, sweet potato, and pomegranates.

The Bird is the word at the Steel Cactus! From now through Thanksgiving Day, get their seasonal burrito, made with turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, and corn, all stuffed in a flour tortilla, then covered in queso gravy and served with a side of cranberry guacamole.

The Thanksgiving Burger is a garlic-crusted turkey patty, topped with Farmhouse cheddar cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, corn gravy, and cranberry jam. The burger chain is also featuring Pumpkin Pie Shakes, with vanilla bean ice cream, mixed with house-made pumpkin pie, and topped with whipped cream and caramel sauce. Get it through Thursday, November 22.

The Turk’ed Up is The Yard’s famous Thanksgiving-inspired sandwich – and there’s a reason that it’s incredibly popular. You’ll find roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, gravy and cheddar cheese, all stuffed in between two pieces of Texas toast. And they serve it with a side of cranberry-stuffed pierogies! Get it now through Thanksgiving.

getGo’s annual take on a Thanksgiving sub, The Pilgrim, features roast turkey, white cheddar, cranberry sauce and gravy, and is served on their famous stuffing bread.

Emporio: A Meatball Joint

Every month, Emporio offers up a different meatball special, and for November, it’s all about the Thanksgiving Balls. Get a bowl with two turkey meatball made with stuffing and cranberries, white cheddar mashed potatoes, sweet kernal corn, and gravy all month long.

BRGR’s popular Gobble Gobble turkey burger is back for November, topped with sage stuffing, pickled green beans, cranberry aioli and turkey gravy.

Piper’s Pub

Every November, Piper’s Pub brings out one of their most popular dishes: Their Thanksgiving Boxty! It’s an Irish potato pancake, stuffed with oven-roasted turkey and stuffing, and topped with turkey gravy, sweet corn, and fresh cranberry sauce. The Thanksgiving Boxty is available on weekends until Thanksgiving.

It’s a classic: Mad Mex’s Gobblerito is the Thanksgiving-inspired dish of the year. This beloved seasonal burrito is stuffed with house-roasted turkey, mashed black bean potatoes, stuffing and corn and then covered in gravy and served with a side of tangy cranberry sauce. You can get it in any Mad Mex location until Thanksgiving Day, November 23.

Pig Iron Pub

Pig Iron Pub’s smoked turkey waffles are available now through Saturday, November 24, and if you haven’t tried one yet, you need to put it on your Thanksgiving to-do list. You’ll find house-smoked turkey and deep-fried mashed potato balls served on top of a waffle that’s made of turkey, and topped with gravy.

Strange Roots Experimental Ales

This Thanksgiving, Strange Roots Experimental Ales created their own unique farmhouse ale, using cranberries and mandarin oranges. The 2018 Thanksgiving blend was refermented on fresh cranberries and mandarin orange, and will be available for a limited release on Wednesday, November 21 at both Strange Roots’ Millvale and Gibsonia taprooms.

The Franksgiving Dog at D’s Six Pack and Dogz in Swissvale is an annual favorite! It’s a turkey hot dog, topped with mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy and corn, and served with a side of cranberry sauce. Get it for the rest of the month.
