Cibo Reopens in Regent Square

After nearly a year-long hiatus, Regent Square’s Cibo has reopened its doors with a new menu, and a new chef leading the kitchen.

Chef Jennifer Buehler Burfield, who did stints at Cure and Portland’s Lauro Kitchen, will be serving up classic Italian dishes, including polenta, venison carpaccio, and half-shares of pastas,  at the BYO neighborhood Trattoria.

The restaurant is open Wednesday through Saturday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Giardineria: Fennel, cauliflower, carrot, onion $4

Olives: Warm, citrus and herb-marinated $6

Baccala Mantecato: Salt cod mousse, grilled bread $8

Venison Carpaccio: Lemon oil, fennel pollen, capers, arugula, sea salt $10

Flatbread: Fontina, prosciutto, pear, arugula, white truffle $12

Polenta: ‘Mama Lil’s’ hot pepper relish $8

Octopus: Grilled, fingerlings, lemon, smoked paprika, thyme $14

Mussels: Garlic, Meyer lemon, white wine, fennel pollen, sumac, cream, grilled bread $14

Frito Misto: Prawns, calamari, sardines, lemon, fennel, caper aioli $16

Duck Confit: Red wine-braised lentils, charred radicchio $11

Romaine:  Lemon, anchovy, garlic, sherry vinegar, crouton, Grana Padano $10

Butter Lettuce: White truffle oil vinaigrette, radish, brown butter crouton $10

Beets: Pear, arugula, hazelnut, goat cheese $10

Cauliflower: Roasted, salsa verde with egg and anchovy $8

Spinach: ‘Agro Dolce’ golden raisin, pine nuts, sherry vinegar $6

Fennel: Braised, orange, tarrago $8

    Nothing outshines Cibo. Outstanding menu. Friendly service and an incredible dining experience. What else can you ask for? How about some desert!
