Station Adds Sunday Brunch

Curtis Gamble has heard you.

After fielding requests for months, Station, Gamble’s modern gastropub in Bloomfield, will be launching a Sunday brunch program on Sunday, March 13.

“It’s been a question for so long, and we hear it from so many of our guests,” Gamble says. “Our customers have been telling us that our area is in need of a place to get really good food on Sunday, and that’s what we’re going to do.”

The new brunch menu will feature a “fairly traditional, slightly left of center” menu, with small plates, and large plates. And, in a restaurant with a seriously strong bar program, brunch cocktails are definitely on the menu.

“We’ll have classic brunch cocktails, like IPA Bloody Mary’s and classic Bloody Mary’s, but also seasonal mimosas, probably starting out with a passion fruit one, and we’ll be taking advantage of the citrus in season now.”

Station’s Sunday Brunch Menu:

  • Crispy chicken thigh, grits, red eye gravy, 1-hour egg: $12
  • House-made yogurt, Sunflower seed granola, dehydrated dates, blood orange: $6
  • Shaved pork shoulder on brioche, egg patty, American cheese wiz, potato chips: $9
  • Fried brioche sticky, crème fraiche, powdered sugar, citrus curd, honey: $8
  • Chicken liver mousse on brioche, egg custard, fermented veg, chile: $7
  • Roasted brisket and eggs, hash browns, Thousand Island sabayon, natural jus: $11
  • Farmers breakfast, BBQ lentils, eggs, chicken sausage, Canadian bacon: $13
  • Cobia rillets, crème fraiche, country seed bread, caraway mustard, dill: $10
  • Crispy tofu, green curry coconut, vegan scramble, petit greens: $10

Sides will include house-made sausage and bacon, plus grits, eggs, homefries, and BBQ lentils.

Brunch will be served every Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In addition to adding brunch, Gamble and the crew at Station have been busy rolling out a new Happy Hour menu, and have plans to add a late-night pop-up series featuring different chefs and food trucks, like Pittsburgh Po’Boy in the coming weeks.

Station’s Happy Hour menu runs every Wednesday at Thursday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Station’s Happy Hour Menu:

  • Crispy Pork Spare Rib, BBQ, Brussels salad: $7
  • Cobia Rillettes, Crème fraiche, country bread: $7
  • Chicken Liver Mousse, Brioche toast, egg custard, pickles, petit salad: $7
  • Crispy Free Range Chicken Breast, rustic bread, bread & butter pickles, American cheese wiz, Thousand Island: $7
