It may be the shortest month of the year, but it’s jam-packed with fun food events in Pittsburgh!

Saturday, February 2

Imbibe Northside at the Mattress Factory
The Mattress Factory and War Streets Brewery are hosting the second annual Imbibe Northside, featuring unlimited tastings from some of Pittsburgh’s best breweries. Tickets are $40 each, and more information can be found online.

I Made It! Mine 2019 at The Block Northway
The I Made It! market is back, just in time for Valentine’s Day. More than 80 local artists and makers will be selling their wares at the market, from ceramics and jewelry, to food finds, like chocolate from a519 Chocolate, Pittsburgh Fudge, Ultra Matcha, Chocolate Moonshine Co., and Vibo’s Bakery.

Sunday, February 3

Bends, Brews and Brunch at Spoonwood Brewing Company
This yoga class will pair Spoonwood Brewing brews with brunch for the perfect Sunday morning. Tickets are $35 per person, and include a 75-minute yoga class, your choice of three brunch options, and a flight tasting of three beers. Tickets are available on the event page.

Badass Brunch & Social Justice Yoga at Heirloom Superfood Market
Pure Grub and DJ Billy Badazz will be at Heirloom Superfood Market for yoga in the market, plus brunch afterwards. Tickets start at $15, and can be purchased online.

Tuesday, February 5

Chef Resident Dinner at Casa Brasil 
Highland Park’s Casa Brasil is welcoming chef resident Veda Sankaran from Jalsa by Veda for a pop-up Indian Tasting Dinner on February 5. The six-course dinner will feature traditional and unique Indian dishes, including Masala Eggs, and butter cauliflower dip. Seats are $65 per person, and can be purchased on the event page.

Wednesday, February 6

Pierogi Making Class at Gaynor’s School of Cooking
Learn how to make this classic Polish dish at Gaynor’s School of Cooking. This four-hour, hands-on class will cover original potato and onion pierogies, plus apple, ground beef, and wild mushroom ones, too. Tickets are $95 per person, and can be purchased online.

Friday, February 8

Afterglow Ginger Party at Wigle Whiskey
Wigle Whiskey is releasing their latest batch of their super-popular Afterglow Ginger Whiskey with a party at their distillery. They’ll have food from Mezza Luna Cafe, Wise County Biscuits (look for delicious ginger desserts!), ginger cocktails, live music, and free Afterglow samples.

3rd Anniversary and Rum Release Party at Hidden Harbor
Hidden Harbor is celebrating their third anniversary in a big way! They’ve teamed up with Maggie’s Farm Rum to create a very special custom rum blend called Hidden Harbor White Rum, which has been specially formulated for making daiquiris. Food is Love at the Candle Lab
The Candle Lab is hosting this sensory experience, exploring the ways that food plays a major role in our lives and relationships. Early bird tickets are $20, and can be purchased online.

Saturday, February 16

Wine Walk in Squirrel Hill 
Uncover Squirrel Hill is hosting a brand new event in celebration of Valentine’s Day weekend. Their Wine Walk is a self-paced wine tasting experience, with stops all along Forbes and Murray Avenues in Squirrel Hill. Tickets start at $30, and can be purchased online.

Urban Maple Sugaring with Grow Pittsburgh
Learn how to tap maple trees at the Frick Environmental Center during this morning event. The group will head out into the woods, and learn how to identify which trees to tap, how to tap trees, and how to keep the sap flowing. Tickets are $10, and more information can be found on the event page.

Pittsburgh Fermentation Festival 
Now in its fourth year, the Pittsburgh Fermentation Festival is happening at Spirit, and will feature activities, educational experiences, and food-inspired entertainment, all about the process of fermentation. You’ll find workshops, demos, and more. Find out more online.

Thursday, February 21

Eat Drink Pittsburgh at the Rivers Casino
More than two dozen Pittsburgh restaurants, including Revival on Lincoln and Paris 66 Bistro are taking part in this tasting event, along with distilleries and breweries. Tickets are $40, and can be purchased online.

Saturday, February 23

A Celebration of Seeds at the Carnegie Library
This annual event allows guests to swap seeds, seedlings, and perennials with other local home gardeners and farmers. The swap is open to everyone, and includes free seeds and plants, hands-on activities for kids, seed-saving workshops and more. For more information, visit the event page.

Sunday, February 24

Girl Scout Cookie Wine Pairing at Black Dog Winery
Black Dog Winery’s Penn Hills location is hosting a Girl Scout Cookie wine pairing, with four different Girl Scout Cookies paired with four different Black Dog wines. Tickets are $15 per person, and can be purchased on their event page.

Tuesday, February 26

Ina Garten at Heinz Hall 
Food Network guru Ina Garten will be at Heinz Hall on Tuesday, February 23, discussing her new cookbook, Cook Like A Pro, along with stories from her life in the Hamptons. Tickets to the event start at $55, and are available online.
