Wednesday, June 1: Bread-Making Class at Enrico Biscotti
Learn the secrets of bread-making from the Pittsburgh baking royalty at Enrico Biscotti in the Strip District. They just added a June bread-making class on Wednesday, June 1 at 6:30 p.m., which will cover the history of bread baking, plus hands-on instruction from Enrico himself. Each class will also include a traditional Italian family-style meal, and house-made wine. Tickets are $85 per person, and reservations can be made by calling 412-281-2602.
Saturday, June 4: June Food Truck Roundup at Brew Gentlemen
The Brew Gentlemen’s monthly food truck roundup is happening on Saturday, June 4 with eight food trucks scheduled: Gyros N’at, Blowfish BBQ, Southside BBQ Company, Leona’s Ice Cream Sandwiches, Bull Dawgs, Driftwood Oven, the Steer and Wheel and Brassero Grill. All info can be found here.

Monday, June 6: Pittsburgh Magazine’s Best Restaurants Party

Friday, June 10: Tar & Feature 2016 at Wigle Whiskey
Celebrate the Whiskey Rebellion in style! Wigle Whiskey’s annual Tar & Feather event is back on Friday, June 10. This year, they’ll be partying at their Northside barrelhouse, with a tar and feathering contest with some of Pittsburgh’s most creative industries, cocktails, whiskey tastings, and food truck food all night. Friday, June 10: Strawberry Festival at Soergel Orchards
Wexford’s Soergel Orchards has just announced the date for their yearly Strawberry Festival. This year’s event is set for Friday, June 10 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Details are scarce, but the family-friendly event will include farm activities, and plenty of strawberry treats. Saturday, June 11 & Sunday, June 12: Strawberry Festival at Trax Farm

Sunday, June 12: Weather Permitting Summer Celebration
Weather Permitting, the outdoor weekly concert series held at the Shadyside Nursery, is kicking off their fourth year on Sunday, June 12. Each Sunday throughout the summer, they’ll be featuring live music, local breweries, food trucks, and a farmers market. This year’s inaugural event will feature Rock Bottom brews, plus food trucks Berlin Street Foods, Steer and Wheel and Stickler’s Ice Pops. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here.
Saturday, June 18: Beer & Gear Festival at Ohiopyle

Purchase a ticket to reserve your BA Gratitude Barleywine, or any of the other Bourbon Barrel Aged beers released that day, and collect your brew anytime that day. Brew ‘N Chew is happening on Saturday, June 18 at the Monroeville Convention Center, featuring craft, regional, national and international beers, plus food pairings, live music and tavern games. Saturday, June 25: Pittsburgh EggFest
Have you ever heard of the Big Green Egg?
