A classic Negroni is a beautiful thing – one part Campari, one part gin and one part vermouth. And that’s why we love Negroni Week, a yearly national event that pairs drinking with donating.
Restaurants across the country are mixing their favorite variations and raising money from each Negroni sold to donate to charity.
More than 60 bars and restaurants in Pittsburgh are participating, with special prices, mixes, and events all week long. A few of our favorites includes:
Sienna Mercato: Each of Sienna Mercato’s three floors are featuring a different version of the Negroni – try the grapefruit one at Il Tetto. Benefits the Rainbow Kitchen.
Round Corner Cantina: “Dos Hermanos Negroni,” with Espolon Reposado, Oro de Oaxaca Mezcal and Campari. Benefits Autism Speaks.
Hidden Harbor: Kingston Negronis, featuring Jamaican rum, are only $10. Benefits the Rainbow Kitchen.
Poros: Plum Americano, with Campari, plum shrub and seltzer. Benefits the Rainbow Kitchen.
Tako: Frozen Blood Orange Negroni. Benefits Extended Family.
G & G Noodle Bar: Classic and Sake Negronis. Benefits the Rainbow Kitchen.
