Shopping for groceries just got a whole lot sweeter!
This summer, Millie’s Homemade Ice Cream is partnering with Giant Eagle to open their first retail pop-up scoop shop at the Waterworks Giant Eagle.
The Millie’s Market District scoop shop is located in the store’s demonstration kitchen space near the bakery. It will offer customers the chance to munch on scoops, shakes, and handmade waffle cones while shopping. The pop-up will feature a daily selection of four rotating flavors and offer free samples of all eleven flavors sold by the pint at Giant Eagle and Market District locations. Pints can be found in the freezer aisles year-round and will also be available at the pop-up.
The eleven flavors currently available at select Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle and Market District locations include Chad’s Vanilla, Best Chocolate, Dulce De Leche, Cookie Dough, Coffee, Hazelnut Brownie, and Incline Cherry, as well as four dairy-free gelato flavors: Mango, Fresh Mint Chip, Dark Chocolate, and Bananas Foster.
The scoop shop is located at the Waterworks Giant Eagle on Freeport Road and is open Thursday – Monday from 12:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. throughout the summer months.
