Holiday shopping just got easier!
Salty Pork Bits, the Pittsburgh-based charcuterie subscription service has opened a brick-and-mortar shop in The Strip District for the holidays. Chef Justin Severino (of Morcilla) launched the initially launched the service in July of 2018. He closed his acclaimed restaurant Cure earlier this year.
The business typically operates as a mail subscription service, mailing various cured meats to customers, but for the holiday, they are opening their first brick-and-mortar shop.
According to their website, the store will offer: handcrafted salami, sausages, ciccioli, bourbon maple-cured bacon, salami cotto, bread from Mediterra Bakery, selection of pickles, jams and mustards. There will also be Salty Pork Bits swag (T-shirts, hats, hoodies and totes).
The Salty Pork Bits pop-up will be open December 8, 14, 15, 20-23, and 27-30 from 9:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M.
