Yinzer Chocolate Bars Celebrate the Holidays… Pittsburgh Style

December 10, 2019 by Madeline Quigley Leave a Comment

Pittsburgh + Chocolate + Holidays? Yes, please!

Yinzer Chocolate Bars – dubbed the “Immaculate Confection” – have released a new line of seasonal chocolate bars just in time for the holidays.

The bars have Steel City-themed decorations by cartoonist Rob Roger, including a Rudolph The Reindeer Stiller, a black & gold trimmed Christmas tree, and, in complete Pittsburgh fashion, a roof with a parking chair for Santa.

“From gift-giving to decorating, the Christmas-themed Yinzer Bars are the perfect item for every Pittsburgh household,” said Jim Krenn, a Pittsburgh-based stand-up comedian and one of the creators of Yinzer Cards and Yinzer Bars along with radio personality Larry Richert and cartoonist Rob Rogers.

These unique treats are produced by Sarris Candies in Canonsburg. They retails for $2.99 for a single bar and $9.95 for a 3-pack gift box. They can be purchased at Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle, Market District, GetGo, Kuhn’s Markets and Hallmark stores, and the Heinz History Center and Visit Pittsburgh gift shops.

Sales proceeds from the bars benefit Spenser’s Voice Fund, a foundation that supports organizations and agencies working to curb the drug epidemic in young adults.

In addition to the chocolate bars, the brand also released four Yinzer Christmas cards. The greeting cards are also available at Pittsburgh-area Giant Eagle, Market District and Laurie’s Hallmark stores, the Heinz History Center and Visit Pittsburgh gift shops and online.
