The wait is officially over!

The long-anticipated second Iron Born Pizza location is now open in the Strip District, serving Detroit-style deep-dish pizza and fresh-made pasta.

There are more than 20 pies on the menu at chef/owner Pete Tolman’s new spot, including the Spicy Pie (soppressata, pepperoni, banana peppers and Mike’s Hot Honey), the White Pie, (garlic cream, roasted tomatoes, ricotta, lemon, arugula, and caramelized onion) and the ever-popular Classic Pie, with red sauce, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella.

The new location will also feature a selection of hand-crafted pastas from chef Ryan Peters (formerly of Fish nor Fowl and brunoise in the Smallman Galley). Peters has been documenting his pasta-making and recipe development at the restaurant for the last few months on social media.

Iron Born Pizza originally launched as a concept in the Smallman Galley in 2017, and opened a Millvale take-out location last year.

The Strip District location is open Tuesday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
