Scotland-based BrewDog has opened their first Pittsburgh outpost.
BrewDog Pittsburgh officially opened on Centre Avenue in East Liberty on Friday, featuring 24 brew taps, a grab-and-go beer section, and a full food menu, offering “elevated bar food.”
BrewDog is an brew community, and the international company is owned by more than 120,000 “craft beer crusaders” who invested money through a crowdfunding campaign. There are breweries in the United Kingdom, Brisbane, Australia, and Columbus, Ohio, and brewpub “outposts” in Cincinnati, Columbus and Indianapolis, along with dozens locations overseas.
The 4,000-square-foot Pittsburgh location also features a brewery production area that guests are able to view, classic BrewDog and Pittsburgh-exclusive BrewDog beers on tap, along with selections from other local breweries, like Helltown and Pizza Boy.
On the menu, look for dishes like burgers, wings, tacos, sandwiches, loaded fries and giant soft pretzels.
There’s also a dog-friendly outdoor patio, and garage doors that will open when the weather permits.
BrewDog Pittsburgh opens daily at 11:00 a.m.
