Be A Thanksgiving Do-Gooder With Virtual Giving

November 25, 2014 by Emily Catalano Leave a Comment

do-gooder

The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and the Pittsburgh Steelers are teaming up this Thanksgiving to make it easier for everyone to donate to a worthy cause.

From now through November 28, instead of bringing food into the food bank, or another collection spot, donate your dollars online – and see exactly where your money will go.

Donation amounts range from $5 for a gallon of milk to $500 for Thanksgiving dinner for 50 families. If you can spare even a few dollars this Thanksgiving, we urge you to help support the food bank – they’re consistently one of the best charitable organizations in the city, and their team spends 365 days a year on the front lines, helping to fight hunger in our neighborhoods.

Follow the link here, and help give another Pittsburgher the gift of good food this Thanksgiving.
