Lidia’s Pittsburgh is doing what they can to help raise money for Italy earthquake relief, by donating proceeds of a special pasta dish to the cause.
The restaurant will be offering their take on Bucatini all Amatriciana, a dish that originated in Amatrice, one of the towns that was hit hardest by last week’s devastating earthquake.
The $16 dish, which is made with a long, hollow pasta, and topped with a red sauce with pepperoncino, pancetta and grated Pecorino cheese, will be available for both lunch and dinner.
For each Bucatini all Amatriciana dish sold, $10 will be donated to the Italian Red Cross. The fundraiser will run through September 15.
