The East End Food Co-op is gearing up for Winterfest, its annual, seasonal celebration and fundraiser for the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
This year’s event will take place on Saturday, January 31 at the Hosanna House in Wilkinsburg.
The family-friendly event will feature food, drinks, music and activities. This year, the menu will feature vegetarian and vegan items from the Co-op Café, along with other appetizers and snacks from event sponsors, including Greek Gourmet, Najats, Legume, Hidden Hills Dairy, and Firefly Farms Creamery. And if you’re 21 or older, you can purchase a $5 wristband that gives you access to the open bar, which will include wine and locally-brewed beers from East End Brewing Company.
They’ll also have a photo booth, face painting, and live music from Union Rye, Shelf Life String Band, and DJ Selecta.
Each tickets cost $5 for Co-op members, and $8 for non-members. Tickets for children ages 5-18 are $3, and children under 5 are free. Included in the cost of your ticket is all food, non-alcoholic drinks, activities, and a complimentary raffle ticket.
