Ukrainian Food Festival
The Parish of Sts. Peter & Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church will host its 5th annual Ukrainian Food Festival on Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10, with homemade Ukrainian foods and pastries. For more information, visit the event page.
A Fair in the Park at Mellon Park
More than 100 regional and national artists will be selling their wares at this three-day outdoor festival (running September 9, September 10 and September 11), plus, there will be lots of food. Expect options from food trucks and vendors, including BRGR, Berlin Street Food, Mac & Gold Truck, PitaLand, Randita’s, South Side BBQ Company, Stickler’s Ice Pops, LaScolas Italian Ice, Wood Fired Flatbreads and Zeke’s Coffee. Take a culinary tour of the Strip District during their yearly Stroll the Strip. Nearly 20 Strip District locations are participating, with bites and beverages at each stop. Pittsburgh Irish Festival
Celebrate Irish heritage at the Pittsburgh Irish Festival on September 9, September 10 and September 11 at the Riverplex. The festival will include a marketplace with Irish-inspired goods, plus food vendors selling traditional Irish dishes (think Shepherd’s Pie and Corned Beef & Cabbage). Pittsburgh Lebanese Food Festival
Enjoy Lebanese Food at the Pittsburgh Lebanese Food Festival at Our Lady of Victory Maronite Church in Carnegie on Friday, September 9, Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11. A Taste in Dormont

Steel City Big Pour
There are still tickets available for Construction Junction’s annual Big Pour fundraiser, featuring 45 breweries, and 25 food vendors for a day of eating, drinking, and live music. General admission tickets are $80 each, and designated driver tickets are $35 each. Find more information online.

Beyond the Menu at Smallman Galley
Cary Polis of Bon Appetit magazine will be the featured speaker at Smallman Galley’s Beyond the Menu, a series of events showcasing food writers and chefs. Polis will be sharing stories from her work in the culinary world, and discussing how digital media shapes the way we understand the food and beverage scene. Steel City Pizzafest: Ghostcrusters at Bayardstown Social Club
