Robinson Township is about to get a new pizza shop.

Fast-casual Blaze Pizza (backed by LeBron James) is opening on Thursday on Settlers Ride Center Drive, and they’re celebrating by handing out free pies.

On Friday, October 14, diners can stop by the restaurant anytime between 11:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. and pick up a personal-sized pizza for free – all you have to do is follow the restaurant on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or Snapchat. All told, Blaze Pizza is prepared to hand out more than 1,200 pies during the day-long event.

Blaze Pizza currently has 155 restaurants in 31 states and California, and features an open kitchen that allows guests to customize their pies before they’re sent to an open-flame oven to bake. The thin-crust pies (sold for about $8 each) bake quickly, and are ready to eat in about three minutes.

The Robinson Township restaurant will be Blaze Pizza’s second location in the Pittsburgh area. A Monroeville location (3939 William Penn Hwy) opened in June.
