Your sweet tooth is in for a treat.
Lawrenceville’s annual Joy of Cookies Tour is back for its 16th year, just in time for the holiday shopping season.
Starting on Thursday, December 1 through Sunday, December 4, visitors to Lawrenceville can stop in at 40 different businesses in the neighborhood for free sample-sized cookies while shopping along the business corridor.
On Saturday, December 3, free trolley rides will be given from noon to 6:00 p.m., and homemade cookies will be for sale at The Cookie Mall at the Boys and Girls Club (4600 Butler Street) from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
New this year, visitors can vote for their favorite cookie on social media by using the hashtag #cookietour2016, and the cookie stop with the most votes will win the ‘cookie cup,’ a Stanley Cup-inspired cookie trophy.
