Washington County now has a new option for sweet treats.
Bethel Bakery has opened the doors to their second location. The shop, in North Strabane Towne Center, is located next to Cyprowski Candy Company (formerly Country Confections Chocolates), and the businesses share adjoining storeroom space.
As first reported by the Observer-Reporter, the new Bethel Bakery shop will sell items that are produced at their original Bethel Park location, but still include all of the bakery’s favorites, like specialty cakes, cream puffs, and holiday cookies, while Cyprowski Candy Company will continue to sell their own chocolate, chocolate-covered pretzels, gourmet apples and candy.
The North Strabane store hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
And, if you haven’t placed your orders for holiday cakes, pies and nut rolls, you’re in luck – they’re taking Christmas orders until Monday, December 19.

As far as my whole family is concerned this is the best bakery around. We have been going to Bethel Bakery since it opened in 1955 in Bethel Park. I was thrilled when it opened another location in N. Strabane, now closer to where I live. Everything is great at this bakery. When family that grew up here comes to visit they always want a Bethel Bakery cake. Every holiday & birthday we have their cakes, etc. Family owned by the nicest people and every bite of their products is a delight!
