After a few months-long hiatus, the folks at Smoke Barbeque Taqueria have heard your pleas – and their Sunday brunch program is back.
Owner Nelda Carranco tells us that brunch will be served every Sunday, and they’re sticking to one brunch menu for now, with weekly brunch additions. And, they’ll have their homemade old-fashioned doughnuts (with a rotating list of flavors, like Strawberry Cheesecake, Crunch Berries, and Chocolate-Frosted Peanut Butter Cap’n Crunch) available every week, too.
The menu includes a few Smoke standards, from Chicken & Waffle Tacos with blueberry jalapeno syrup to Brisket Corn Bread, served with a spicy Chili de Arbol cheese sauce. They’re also making their burgers available, usually only on the menu on ‘Burger Tuesday.’ Their brunch version is topped with smoked gouda and a bacon jam that you’ll be dreaming about for days.
And day drinking is encouraged with special brunch cocktails, like their Brunch Punch, made with rye whiskey, cognac, spiced rum, grapefruit, lime, clementine and sweet tea.
Brunch is available on Sundays from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
