On March 10, help restore the historic Northeast Fountain in Allegheny Commons Park in the best way possible – by enjoying local beer!
The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, in partnership with the Allegheny Commons Initiative and the Northside Leadership Conference, is currently working on a $2.5 million restoration of the Northeast fountain, located at the corner of Cedar and North avenues on the North Side. To help support these efforts, they are hosting the special 21+ fundraiser, Park on Tap.
Park on Tap will take place on March 10 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The event will feature music from Brewer’s Row, and beer from Allegheny City Brewing and War Streets Brewery. War Streets Brewery has not yet opened to the public, so this is an exclusive chance to sample their brews.
The fountain restoration is part of a larger initiative restore Allegheny Commons Park, Pittsburgh’s oldest park. More information on the project can be found on the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy website.
Tickets are $75 per person and can be purchased online.
