Want to nerd out on all things whiskey? March marks the return of Wigle Whiskey’s free whiskey pairing demonstrations.
On Wednesday evenings this March, Wigle is hosting programs on pairing whiskey with some of its most flavorful counterparts, like ice cream, beer, and coffee. The demonstrations will provide insight into what flavors complement each other best, and give guests the chance to taste plenty of whiskey.
The first class, “Whiskey and Wood,” is happening tonight, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Whiskey experts will be on hand to instruct guests on the influences of oak on whiskey, and how to create barrel-aged cocktails at home.
The rest of the programming includes:
March 8: Beer with Dancing Gnome Brewery: Whiskey and beer pairing flights
March 15: Coffee with La Prima Espresso: DIY coffee liqueur
March 29: Milkshakes with Millie’s Ice Cream: Boozy milkshakes with bitters and ice cream
The events are free, but Wigle Whiskey suggests RSVPing online to let them know you are coming. Events will be held on March 1, 8, 15, and 29, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Wigle Distillery in the Strip District.
