Fantastic news for those who love to lunch! The downtown lunch scene grows larger after täkō, Pittsburgh’s trendy taqueria , opens for lunch today, April 10.
täkō is known for its Asian and Mexican fusion cuisine, featuring different tacos like the “Korean,” with wagyu short rib, peanuts and fermented cucumber, and the “Tako” taco, with grilled octopus and harissa aiol. There is also a design your own guacamole menu, and a heck of a lot of tequila.
The restaurant will now serve an abbreviated lunch menu, Monday through Friday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
