Tiki Time Traveler is back and funkier than before!
Since Hidden Harbor opened on Shady Avenue in Squirrel Hill last year, the trendy tiki spot has been known for mixing up the drinking scene in Pittsburgh.
Between gigantic flaming drinks, and “Weird Science Wednesdays,” where the bar turns itself into a laboratory and creates experimental recreations of classic cocktails, there is always something unique happening at Hidden Harbor, and Tuesdays are no different. Hidden Harbor has just relaunched its wildly successful “Tiki Time Traveler” menu for the third time.
Tiki Time Traveler is Hidden Harbor’s way of taking its guests on a “metaphorical journey through tiki’s tasty history.” Every Tuesday, Hidden Harbor will be featuring a menu of ten vintage tiki drinks, hoping to round out the tiki education of their customers in the tastiest way possible. Every drink featured was created between 1937 and 1978.
For the third edition of the menu, Hidden Harbor is serving several lesser-seen tiki drinks, like “Don the Beachcomber’s 1937 Caribbean Punch,” and the “Tropical Itch” with bourbon, rum, orange, passion fruit and bitters, which comes with a custom back-scratcher.
