The Good Food Agenda: This Weekend’s Best Food Events

Check out these foodie events in Pittsburgh this weekend, including several festive Easter brunches and fish fries.

Friday, April 14th

Keep Pittsburgh Fishy: This unique fish fry event supports progressive organizations in the city of Pittsburgh. This year, Keep Pittsburgh Fishy is benefiting New Voices Pittsburgh, a local organization dedicated to the health and well-being of Black women and girls.  Tickets are $10 at the door and include a sandwich, vegan Apteka coleslaw, and vegetarian Macaroni & Cheese from the Vandal. This event is held a Spirit in Lawrenceville, and more information can be found online.

Pittsburgh in Paris: To celebrate the release of their new apple pommeau, “Pennsylvania Pommeau,” Wigle is hosting a French soiree at their distillery in the Strip District. Tickets are $15 and include a Pommeau cocktail, Pommeau wee dram, cheese sampling, and entrance. Pittsburgh Crepes Food Truck will also be on site. Tickets can be purchased online.

Saturday, April 15th

Driftwood Oven & Henna Art at The Staghorn Garden Cafe: This Saturday, Driftwood Oven is heading to the Staghorn cafe for an afternoon pizza party.  Pittsburgh Henna artist Soma Chatterji will also be at the event from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM.  More information can be found online.

Sunday, April 16th

Relish Co. Sunday Brunch with Black Forge Coffee House: This Sunday, Relish Co. vegan donuts will be teaming up with Black Forge for a doughnut brunch.  From 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, enjoy vegan donuts, coffee, and heavy metal jams.  More information can be found online.

Ember & Vine Easter Brunch: The trendy and delicious Ember & Vine in Cranberry is hosting a large Easter brunch and dinner buffet.  Enjoy dishes like Buttermilk Pancake Bar, Spring Vegetable Frittata, Chef-Carved Honey Glazed Ham, Chef-Carved Leg of Lamb and more! There will be live music at the event. More information can be found online.

Easter Feast at the Ace Hotel: The Ace Hotel in East Liberty is also hosting a fancy Easter meal this Sunday.  The meal is $35 per person and includes ham, lamb, many sides, and dessert.  The full menu can be viewed online.

Brunch with the Bunnies at Animal Friends: Enjoy a tasty brunch while playing with adoptable bunny friends at Animal Friends.  Tickets to this event are just $10 per adult, and $5 for children under 10, and includes food, and 1 hour with the bunnies.  Tickets can be purchased online.
