Legendary Pittsburgh chef Justin Severino (Cure, Morcilla) is teaming up with Sunkist Growers to celebrate citrus season in Schenley Plaza, and everyone is welcome to join!

On Wednesday, April 19 and Thursday, April 20 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Sunkist is transforming  Schenley Plaza in a  pop-up citrus grove.  The event is free and open to the public, and will have springtime lawn games, an Instagram-worthy colorful backdrop, an intense citrus grove virtual reality experience, and of course, plenty of citrus-inspired food.

For his role, Severino will be demoing how he uses citrus in his cooking, and serving complimentary citrus-inspired food and beverages, including six original dishes.

Sunkist will also be giving away a variety of citrus, straight from their California groves, for guests to sample and take home.
