And we ain’t even talking about happy hour! The following bars and restaurants in Pittsburgh feature snacks and appetizers for under only $5 and under (okay… there might be one that’s $5.25). Go out for drinks without worrying about the bill.  Cheers!

Classy cocktail and burger bar Butterjoint has a number of bar bites under $5, most notably their Bluefish Pâté and Duck Fat Fries.

Pierogis at Bloomfield Bridge Tavern,  $1.25 each

Try the famous pierogis at Bloomfield Bridge Tavern. There are three different fillings (Potato & Cheese / Sauerkraut / Cottage Cheese), minimum order of 3.

Mac & Cheese at Kelly’s Bar and Lounge, $5
East Liberty
Kelly’s is famous for their Mac & Cheese, comes out steaming hot, takes 20 mins to make, and is worth the wait. A small size (which is still pretty filling) is only $5.

5 for 5 Wings at Pints on Penn, $5
Lawrenceville
Pick from six different sauces including BBQ, buffalo bleu, dry ranch, and spicy ranch.

Pretzel Twist at Stack’d Burgers, $5

A giant pretzel, topped with salt and served with spicy mustard and jalapeno cheese sauce.

South Side
These house made pickles are soaked in hops and spices – you are advised to keep your beer on hand while eating them!

Pizza Boat and Chicken Fingers at The Library
South Side
Enjoy a toasted French bread pizza filled with with sauce, pepperoni and cheese, or a basket of chicken fingers for only $5 at the library.
