At first look, beer and yoga may not seem like an obvious match. However, yogis and beers drinkers alike having been finding a balance between a cold brew, and a relaxing yoga session.
More and more breweries across the city are offering guests the chance to unwind in this unique way.
Here are few upcoming events to sign up for now. And, keep in mind that even if dates haven’t been announced, most of these are recurring series, and will happen again in the months ahead!
Beer + Yoga: Summer Series at Brew Gentlemen
Dates: Every Thursday and Sunday, June 1 through August 3 (except for Father’s Day, June 18)
Time: Thursday evenings (7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.) and Sunday mornings (11:00 a.m. to noon)
What: One-hour yoga class and a complimentary 6 oz. beer following the class

Instructor Kenny Gould says, “Instead of picking one place and holding the same event every month, we switch locations every month, so if you come to all of them, it’s like getting a brewery tour of Pittsburgh… through yoga.”

The Beer Yogis travel around the country, sharing beer and yoga in different cities, and they are rolling through Pittsburgh on June 19.
