May Waffle Special at Waffles INCaffeinated

May 7, 2015 by Emily Catalano 1 Comment

Just in time for Spring flowers to arrive, Waffles INCaffeinated (2517 East Carson St.) has a brand-new waffle special for the month of May, and it’s a doozy.

‘Poppy Goes the Waffle’ is a poppy seed and lemon waffle, topped with cream cheese, blackberries, blackberry reduction sauce, and finished with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. And, for a bit of spring flair, they’ve added an edible flower, Anise Hyssop, which tastes a little bit like licorice.

You can get it at either their Pittsburgh or Beaver locations throughout the month of May.
