It’s going to be a beautiful weekend in Pittsburgh – and a tasty one, too!

Friday, June 9

Live Music and Food at Arsenal Cider House
Kick off the summer season at Arsenal Cider House with live music and food in their popular Lawreceville cider garden! On Friday, they’ll have music from the Kardasz Brothers from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and food from Proper Pizza, too. See more online.

Friday, June 9: Leaning Cask Brewing Company Grand Opening
The time has finally come to try some English-style ales in Springdale, PA! Leaning Cask is having its Grand Opening celebration on Friday, June 9 and 10. There will be 8-9 beers on tap, including one beer on cask. More information can be found online.

Sustainable Sipping at the Frick
Enjoy beer or wine while discussing sustainable initiatives at the Frick on Friday evening at their monthly ‘Sustainable Sipping’ event. Tickets are $20, and include live music by Good Brother Earl Duo, beers by Yellow Bridge Brewery, and a presentation by StormWorks. More information can be found on the event page.

Saturday, June 10

Slow Milk at Legume
Take what you know about milk to a new level at Slow Milk, presented by Legume Bistro, East End Food Co-op, and Pittsburgh’s Slow Food chapter. Guests will sample raw cow, goat, and sheep’s milks, and multiple speakers in the Pittsburgh dairy community will share their experience with milk. More information can be found online.

Pittsburgh Pride Fest
Pittsburgh Pride Fest is taking place downtown between 6th Street and 10th Street on Saturday, June 10 and Sunday, June 11 and will feature more than 150 vendors, including lots of food – so come hungry. The family-friendly event will have live entertainment, a dance party and games, too. To see more, visit the event page.

Millvale Food Truck Roundup
Two of our favorite breweries – Draai Laag and Grist House – are teaming up for a Millvale Food Truck roundup on Saturday. Eight trucks will be parked between the two breweries, including Revival Chili, Mission Mahi and Gaucho Parilla Argentina. Read more online.

Brunch Buffet with Sweet Little Eats
Stop by Bantha Tea Bar on Saturday, June 10th for a three course pop-up brunch with Sweet Little Eats. The menu includes a taco bar, cinnamon rolls, and coffee/tea. More information can be found online.

Wheel and Wedge Grand Opening
Popular cheese shop Wheel and Wedge is opening a new location at Enginehouse 25 Wines, and they’re hosting a cheese-centric party to celebrate. They’ll have lots of artisan domestic cheeses available for sampling, plus Goat Rodeo Farm & Dairy will be on hand from noon to 3:00 p.m. for tasting. See more on the event page.

Yoga, Bike & Brunch at The Color Park
LocalMotion and Studio AM are teaming up for a workout and brunch on Saturday morning. They’ll be hosting an hour-long yoga class at Color Park along the South Side bike trail, then lead a bike ride to Studio AM for a buffet brunch with pancakes and French toast. Yoga starts at 9:30 a.m., and brunch starts at 11:15 a.m. Tickets are $25 per person, and can be purchased online.

Sunday, June 11

Pints & Pies & Prints at Roundabout Brewery
Driftwood Oven will be partnering with Favorite Dinosaur artists and Roundabout Brewery for a Pints & Pies & Prints event. Tickets are $20, and include one pizza from Driftwood Oven, one pint from Roundabout Brewery and an original print from Favorite Dinosaur. For more information, visit the event page.

Sonntag at Wigle Whiskey
Every Sunday throughout the summer, Wigle Whiskey hosts a Sonntag event from 2:00 to 7:00 pm. at their Barrelhouse & Whiskey Garden, featuring a different local brewery. This month, Draai Laag Brewing Company will be pouring beer, complimentary with each Wigle spirit dram purchase. See more online.

Uncork For a Cause at Sienna Mercato
Pirates pitcher Gerrit Cole is hosting a charity event on the rooftop at Sienna Mercato, benefiting Pirates Charities and The Children’s Institute of Pittsburgh. Tickets are $100 to $250, and can be purchased on the event page.

Sunday, June 11: Candles and Mimosas
Have you made it to the new Candle Lab in Lawrenceville yet?  This event gives you the perfect excuse to check it out! Stop through the lab on Sunday, June 11th from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and receive a free Reed & Co mimosa while making your custom candle.

Sunday, June 11: The Neighborhood Flea
The Neighborhood Flea is back for its June edition! Expect flea finds, food trucks, baked goods, coffee, and more! More information can be found online.
