Here in Pittsburgh, we drink and we know things.

How does the city celebrate the long-awaited return of Game of Thrones? With events, pop up bars, and baked goods fit for a queen!

Below we have rounded up a few of our favorite Dothraki-approved treats and events happening to celebrate Thrones.

Fire and Blood Ice Cream Sundae at Sugar Spell Scoops

After just a few bites, these delicious sugar cookies will be the moon of your life. For the Thrones return, Oakmont is selling iced sugar cookies with the GoT logo through the weekend.

Dubbed the “Kahleesi,” this dothraki drink features Plymouth gin, kalamansi, basil, jalapeno, and angostura bitters.

Game of Thrones Pirates Bobbleheads

Worlds collide with these limited edition bobbleheads! Fans of the Pittsburgh Pirates and Game of Thrones will enjoy these collectible trinkets which feature the Night King with a bat, an Ice Dragon with a Pirate’s P, and the Pirate Parrot on the Iron Throne.

A drink fit for a queen! The “Dragon Scale” cocktail features Paranubes Oaxacan rum, lemon, dragon fruit, and palm syrup. The drink is part of the restaurant’s Spring Cocktail Menu.

Ice & Fire Dragon Shake at Burgatory

This GoT-inspired shake features house-turned vanilla bean ice cream mixed with vanilla sugar wafers and topped with a fiery-colored whipped cream swirl. The shake can be spiked with fireball! It is available now through the Game of Thrones premiere, this Sunday April 14th.

Game of Cheese Party at Chantal’s Cheese Shop

Cheese Is Coming. Chantal’s is offering customers the best cheeses in Westeros for their “Game of Cheese” 1 year anniversary party. All weekend, customers can enter a raffle to win one of three dragon eggs. Additionally, on Saturday, the store is hosting a sampling from Goat Rodeo Farm & Dairy. The raffle winners will be announced on Facebook Live at 3:00 P.M.

Game of Thrones Trivia at Claddagh Irish Pub

The Claddagh is one of the most popular spots in Pittsburgh for Trivia, and to celebrate the return of GoT, the bar is hosting Thrones Trivia all month. GoT Trivia is held every Wednesday in April from 8:00 P.M. – 10:00 P.M. Team reservations can be made by calling (412) 381-4800.

Dragon Egg Cookies at Bella Christie & Lil’ Z’s

As an ode to Drogon, Rhaegal, Viserion, Bella Christie is selling extra special dragon egg cookies at their Lawrenceville location, while supplies last!

Bar of Thrones Pop-up Bar in Downtown Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh is buzzing about the Game of Thrones-themed pop-up bar, now open on Forbes Avenue in Downtown Pittsburgh, located near Millie’s and Bluebird Kitchen. This bar will let you drink like a Lannister and party like the Dothraki. The entire space is decked out with over-the-top decorations, and the drinks have apropos names like “Ned’s Dead” and “Wildfire.” Bar of Thrones is scheduled to open at 4:00 P.M. daily through the end of May. A portion of the proceeds from the bar will be donated to “I carry my Sister’s Heart,” a nonprofit that helps families cope with cancer.

The Seven Kingdoms are coming to Millvale! To celebrate the Season 8 of Thrones, Bar 3, located on North Ave, is hosting a GoT popup bar April 11-14. Drinks include the “Mother of Dragons,” containing rosé and dragonfruit. The bar is located on the second floor of Bar 3 and will have episodes of the show playing on their 100″ TV.

Game Of Thrones Oreos

Oreo is playing #GameofCookies for the return of Thrones. The iconic cookie company is offering an exclusive package of cookies that are printed with House Stark, White Walkers, House Targaryen, and House Lannister pictures. The packages are theoretically available wherever Oreos are sold, but don’t be surprised if your local store is sold out! (Be sure to call ahead.) Watch a fun cookie interpretation of the opening credits online.

Johnnie Walker White Walker Whisky

Johnnie Walker is offering a special Whisky for Thrones fans. The White Walker by Johnnie Walker is blended Scotch Whisky “inspired by the chill inducing White Walkers.” The blend is designed to be served directly from the freezer. When frozen, the bottle’s temperature-sensitive ink displays the message “Winter is Here.” The drink is available at the Fine Wine & Good Spirits stores.
